Equissentials breeches are made with the finest quality of deerskin leather. Styles are available for all riding disciplines. Choose from slip ons, traditional fly (front or side), belt loops or snaps. The single seam is offset to the front of hip area and gently curves to the outside of the knee. The seam does not cause pressure points or contact with the saddle, thus ensuring absolute comfort.
All breeches with natural deerskin leather, include an additional piece of Lycra sewn into the waistband, preventing any feeling of discomfort or slipping. Our selection of styles, allows you to choose the amount of "stick" you would like between you and the saddle.
The Full Seat option features leather covering the buttocks, continuing through to the thigh, and ending below the knee.
Our Half Seat option is similar to the Full Seat, with the leather starting in the loin area, and extending up to the buttocks.
The Dressage Patch begins 4 inches below the loin area, and extends 4 inches below the knee.
The Hunt Patch is similar to the Dressage Patch, with a smaller knee area. This gives a minimum amount of contact with the saddle.
Our Boot Cut and Western Jods have leather which extends fully to the in-step. The breech is cut wider at the ankle, with a strap, allowing it to be worn over boots.
